SUMMERLAND KIWANIS CLUB

Serving our community and helping children of the world.

Our Impact Why We Exist

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.

Our purpose is to improve lives through leadership and service worldwide.

We embrace diversity, open to exchange of ideas, responsive to membership needs and committed to developing youth and adult leaders.

On a local level we provide scholarships yearly for our graduating class.  Support financially our local clubs, Guides, Air Cadets, Food Bank, B.C. Guide Dogs, D.A.R.E, two breakfast school programs. Read To Me program, NeighborLink and many other programs as they come to our attention.

Our Story What We Do

We raise funds by providing a community service which is cooking pancakes, sausages, coffee and juice for all the local events in Summerland.  During the summer months we are quite busy with this.  We also provide breakfast at the Kettle Valley Railway for their Easter train.

We provide help to seniors that are going into care or already in care, move their extra household goods that are no longer required.  We sell these goods at the Flea Markets we hold during spring and summer.

Our funds are raised by these activities so we can support the local programs and whenever we have a request for funds for a special project.
