Osoyoos Child Care Society

Our Impact Why We Exist

Providing child care that meets the British Columbia child care regulations standards to ensure families who require care can find affordable and accessible care. Our area identifies that many families have various ages of children and require a child care centre to meet those needs. For first time parents the task of finding quality regulated care can be scary and our hope is to provide care ongoing through the ages.

Our Story What We Do

Through dialogue and discussion the community identified in 1996 a need for child care services in the community. The town of Osoyoos donated the location which is in close proximity to the Elementary school. The Osoyoos Child Care centre Society was constructed with donations of construction contractors and donations of materials for the project. Through the changes of government the centre has also changed to meet the needs of the community and families child care needs. The centre employee Early Childhood Educator who maintain their certification while supporting youth who are interested in exploring the field of Early Childhood Development. Our centre is governed by a volunteer board of community members, parents and interested person who wish to support the child care centre.

Our Programs How We Do It
