Mission: Through strong leadership and in partnership with volunteer, public and private service providers, the Recreation Department promotes and contributes to a healthy community and enhances the quality of life for residents and visitors of Penticton, through planning, management and delivery of recreation, sport, events and active living opportunities.

What You Can Do

Recreation Penticton can benefit from your involvement. We are always looking for enthusiastic, dedicated and responsible volunteers 16 years and older to help out with:

  • Customer Service
  • Program Leaders/Assistants (Tots n' Tykes/Children/Youth & Adult programs)
  • Special Events and Projects
  • Theatre Ushers
  • REACT (aquatic rehabilitation) program assistants
